		<description>Good write up.  Another trend along the same lines as the mega dropdown is the &quot;mega smart search&quot;.  This is when a user searches for something and in realtime, they get a cross category result set.  A good example of this is when you search at www.moviefone.com  Search for Brad Pitt and get the top results from multiple result buckets even before you hit enter.  This allows the user to, like in a mega dropdown, jump to the desired content without seeing the parent page, in this case the search results page.</description>
