		<description>I agree with the sentiment that it&#039;s already happening and it&#039;s probably too late to do much about it (if we wanted to).

What really hurts my brain is trying to think of the &quot;social network&quot; our kids will really embrace. It&#039;s more likely than not that it will be something we can&#039;t comprehend right now and it will make us much more uncomfortable than we can imagine. Like when parents didn&#039;t get chat rooms and the news depicted them as scary places your kids go and parents don&#039;t know about it.

Expect to hear this &quot;Oh thanks dad, so you secured a youtube account for me... what&#039;s a youtube?&quot;</description>

		<description>My daughter&#039;s school subscribes to a contained community / CMS tool called SchoolTown. It&#039;s not great, but she loves being able to chat with friends during / after homework. It sounds idyllic, but it really does work like that...they will go on and ask questions and work on shared problems. Being cynical, I was very pleasantly surprised.

So, my response is, it&#039;s already in full effect. We&#039;re too late!
